First things first - the only way to begin your training at HighAltitude CrossFit is with an INTRO session. These are by appointment only - call Jake to schedule at (970) 343-9040.
Our INTRO session is a complimentary one-on-one training session during which you'll get a chance to learn a lot more about our program and actually experience a CrossFit workout for yourself. It is by appointment only and is a prerequisite for taking a class. It's purpose is to help us serve you better by getting to know your goals and expectations, fitness level, and experience.
After your INTRO session you progress into our Fundamentals Program. This program prepares you to begin our daily classes (WODs - Workouts Of the Day). During the Fundamentals Program, we will introduce you to the basic movements necessary for proficiency in CrossFit workouts. This program emphasizes technique, which when mastered, will ensure your safety and success and will become a precursor to increased levels of intensity.
The Fundamentals Program consists of 6 classes. The movements introduced in each class are more technical than the previous and all classes conclude with a workout. The workouts incorporate the new mechanics learned in that day’s lesson along with all previously learned techniques. All of the workouts are scalable and can be modified to individual abilities.
